Natural World and Leading Lines
Photo 101 – Assignment 8
This tree represents a sense of survival. It was really rather odd-looking — about 8 foot tall with a big hole in the middle and a few branches sticking sideways out of the top. The fact that it was still standing with this giant hole in it amazed me. It actually felt pretty sturdy. I’m not sure if the hole was caused by disease, bugs or animals; but it was pretty big and deep into the tree. The photos I took just didn’t look right until I focused on the hole in the middle. I think the lines, angles and texture make it look interesting.

Do you think you always have to look at the whole in order to see something interesting?
Nice!

Great picture. No, you don’t have to look at the whole in order to discover something interesting 🙂

Thanks! I agree that looking at just parts can be very interesting. I’ve found that not everyone agrees with me, though. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
