We took a detour on the way home a few weeks ago. We turned off of US Highway 287 onto US Route 79 and finally traveled on Texas State Highway 70. Much of the scenery was typical for the this part of Texas — small towns, flat plains, and mesquite bushes; but we did enjoy seeing a different part of Texas.
On Texas State Highway 70, we found this interesting bridge over the Red River. The railing was neat to look at; but it did make it a little difficult to see the river.

The sides of the bridge add to an already interesting perspective. The photo looks almost hand-drawn. Love the charcoal feel.

Thanks! I loved the bridge when I saw it. The sides are unusual and I tried to highlight them in the photo. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
