Fresh As A Daisy

Daisies use to be called “Day’s Eye” because at night the petals close over the center and reopen during the day. So – “Fresh as a Daisy” meant someone had a good night’s rest. Now, it usually refers to being refreshed or full of energy.

How often do you feel “Fresh as a Daisy”?

Monochrome Madness Challenge

FreshAsADaisyBW_LindaJamesPhotography__MMFlowers are not usually the best subject for monochrome photography; however, sometimes you just have to try.   The monochrome photo shows the wonderful lines and great shapes of the daisies.  I also like how the monochrome photo gives the feel of another era in photography.

“Fresh As A Daisy (BW)” is my entry for this week’s Monochrome Madness Challenge. You can join the Monochrome Madness challenge and see more entries over at Leanne Cole Photography. You can view my other Monochrome Madness Challenge entries by clicking on Monochrome Madness.
