Icy

We recently had an ice storm in my part of North Texas.  There were many trees that lost large branches or even toppled over because of the weight of the ice.  Even so, the ice was beautiful to see.  (I want to add a note here — I  appreciate all the electric and utility workers that worked out in the terrible storm; so that we could be warm and safe.)

This photo was taken the day after the ice storm.  As you can see, the roads were clear; but the trees were still icy.  There was still a slight misty feel to the day.
