Photo A Day
I decided to join the Post A Day Photo Challenge. I had really planned to start some type of photo challenge on the first of January; but life got in the way. I think it’s better to start this week than to not start at all.
FMS Photo A Day
I’m also participating in the Instagram Fat Mum Slim photo a day (#fmsphotoaday). You can find me on Instagram here. There’s an app called Little Moments to help with FMS photo a day if you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod. It’s a great app and makes playing photo a day easier and more fun. (I’m not getting paid for this comment. I’m just sharing what I’ve discovered recently.)
I hope that these photo challenges will encourage me to take different types of photos this year. Anyone can join either of these photo challenges. Just click on the links in this post to find the instructions. I’d appreciate a link to my blog also.
Morning – FMS Photo A Day theme for Tuesday January 27, 2015
I used my iPad Mini to take these photos along with the Little Moments app to edit and add text.
Three Things – theme for FMS Photo A day January 26, 2015
Both photos were taken with my Canon and an 18-135 mm lens. I used the Fotor app on my MAC to edit and added the cantaloupe filter to the shells for an arty look.
Do you like photo challenges or do you feel they add too much pressure to your photography?
Note: Today’s assignment for Blogging 101 was to try a blog event. This post helped me complete that assignment and begin one of my 2015 goals. Lucky me!

I have the worst time sticking to photo-a-day challenges! Any tips for staying on track?

I’m not sure I’m the best person to give advice since I’m starting the 2015 challenge so late. LOL I’ve done several short photo challenges and manage to stay to the end. I just give myself permission to miss a day if needed and catch up when possible. It also helps me when I know someone else doing the challenge and we keep each other motivated. Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you so much. I love taking photos with my iPad and iPhone because it can give a totally different type of perspective — and sometimes I just don’t want to drag out the DSLR. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
