I took this photo as we were traveling along the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway in North Carolina. There were numerous pullouts where you could stop to view all the gorgeous mountains. This particular vista was appealing because all you could see was rows of mountains which ever direction you looked. I like that you can still see the smokey cast of the mountains in the monochrome photo.
As Far As The Eye Can See
This is another version of the same view. I think the Blue Ridge Mountains are beautiful in both versions.

I like them both Linda, but gotta be the colour one really, they are the Blue Ridge Mountains after all.
Happy 2018 to you!

Hey! Nice to hear from you. I agree that the color one shows the mountains the best. I need to be better with my monochrome photography. LOL Now that the holidays are over, I’m gonna work on that. I also need to catch up on blog reading. 🙂 Happy 2018 to you, too. 🙂
