Photo 101 – Assignment 9 – Warmth and Quality of Light

This is the entrance to Sea World in San Antonio.  We were walking back after a long, wonderful yet exhausting day.  As we came around a corner there was this massive blast of light coming from the tunnel.  It was like a burst of energy encouraging us to remember the great time we had and not think about how exhausted we actually were.  The odd thing is that you don’t exit through the tunnel — they route you around to the other side to exit.  I think it would have been cool to walk through the tunnel.

Note – I’m not sure this exactly qualifies for this assignment because part of the warmth comes from the memory of first seeing the light through the trees.
