Monochrome Madness Challenge

Branches of Snow is my entry for the Monochrome Madness Challenge over at Leanne Cole Photography.    You can check out some of the other Monochrome Madness photos here.

Branches of Snow

I took this photo after a 12 inch snow storm.  For a change, there was very little wind; so the snow piled up on everything.  I especially  love the look of the snow on the branches.  I think the black & white filter brings out the shadows and makes the snow look brighter.

I used the gray-scale filter in the Fotor app on my MAC to edit the photo.
