When looking for subjects for monochrome photos, I usually look for lots of lines and texture. However, I decided to try something different this week. I think this sunset has enough content for a monochrome photo. I love how the monochrome version emphasizes the sun rays. It’s almost like you can see the bright golden color of the sun just peaking over the trees.
A calm evening after a spring thunderstorm results in a glorious sunset reflecting off the water of Lake Kiowa. Lake Kiowa is a small lake about an hour north of Dallas.
