Electra, Texas – Highway 287

This water tower is in Electra, Texas — one of the many you can see while traveling on US Highway 287 in Texas. Electra is still in North Texas; but the trees aren’t as numerous as further north allowing you to see for long distances.

This particular night the sun was a bright ball in the sky until it hid behind the horizon. About 10 minutes later I looked up to see the water tower highlighted by the sun’s last rays.
