Visit With A Texas Longhorn
I’m a city girl; so I’ve always thought that Longhorn cattle look like they are ready to stomp you into the ground. This guy lived up to my imagination when I stopped to take a photo. I was definitely glad that there was a sturdy fence between us. In reality, he was probably just thinking, “Look at that silly city girl taking a picture. Maybe, I should go to her house and stare at her.”
Even so, I thought this Texas Longhorn was rather handsome and had an awesome set of horns.

City or Country
Are you a city or country girl (or guy)? What makes you feel out of your comfort zone?
Hmm, I see why they are called “Longhorns.”
Not much meat on him though?

He seemed awfully big when I was close to him. LOL But, I have noticed that some of the cattle in the area look “skinny”. I wonder if that’s the difference between grass fed and grain fed cattle? Where I lived before, we had stockyards and feed yards. The cattle were all bunched up in pens most of the time. I don’t remember seeing many in pastures.
