Every year during the holiday season I enjoy seeing the gratitude and thankful lists people often share. I usually make a list in my journal every year; but this year I’m going one step further by sharing my list on this blog. My list starts off being thankful for my family (which I realize aren’t things) because I am sincerely thankful for them. I’ve also included some items that I’m thankful for that just make my life easier, more fun or more interesting.
I’m thankful for my husband – the love of my life!
I’m thankful for my daughter.
I’m thankful for my son.
I’m thankful for my 3 grandsons.
I’m thankful for all my family and friends that are like family.
I’m thankful for friends from the past, those in the present and those I’m still to meet.
I’m thankful for my dogs.
I’m thankful for the years that I spent teaching.
I’m thankful for All my former students.
I’m thankful to get to spend time with my husband everyday.
I’m thankful for the sun shinning through my windows.
I’m thankful for music and those who make music for me to listen to.
I’m thankful for being forgiven.
I’m thankful for the kindness of strangers.
I’m thankful for learning from my mistakes.
I’m thankful for every sunrise and every sunset.
I’m thankful for growing older.
I’m thankful for each good-night kiss.
I’m thankful for hugs.
I’m thankful for all the colors around us.
I’m thankful for dishwashers, washers and dryers.
I’m thankful that I’ve been brave enough to step out of my comfort zone every so often.
I’m thankful for phone calls, FaceTime, email and technology.
I’m thankful for social media & being able to keep up with friends & family.
I’m thankful for photography.
I’m thankful for the opportunity to be crafty.
I’m thankful for the people who read my blog – that’s you!
