Trees have always fascinated me.
I love taking photos of all types of trees. Sometimes the photos are of large groups of trees , an individual tree or as in this case just a portion of a tree.
This Oak tree is located next to the east beach at Lake Kiowa, Texas. I was fascinated by the knot hole on this tree and even more so, once I downloaded the photo. If you look closely, you can see what looks like a spider web covering the hole. I almost didn’t take the photo because I was in a hurry that day. I’m glad that I took the time because the tree was trimmed recently and looks very different.
