Taffy In the Wind – Monochrome Madness Challenge

taffyinthewind_rainydayreflections_

Meet Taffy, my sweet miniature schnauzer.  She’s 13 1/2 years old and her age is catching up with her too often these days.  Hanging her head out the car window has always been one of her favorite things.

Taffy and Maggie, our other schnauzer, ride in the back seat of our vehicle when we travel.  They are good at traveling and usually just lay on the seat enjoying the movement of the vehicle.  However, whenever we get close to home they always stand up to look out the window.  It’s like they know we’re almost home.  Regardless of the weather, we always open the car window to let them smell the air when we’re about a block from home.

I took this photo of Taffy last year after a trip.  The wind blew her fur and ears back because it was such a windy day.  As you can see, she didn’t let the wind bother her at all.
