“Texas Blooms” is my entry for this week’s Monochrome Madness Challenge.
The theme for this week is cultural. I had many ideas about photos I could take that would fit the theme. When you live near the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex the possibilities are endless. Cowboy Football Fans, Ranger Baseball Fans, NASCAR Fans, commuters, cowboys, horse ranchers, musicians and the list could go on and on.
Then, I visited the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens for the “Blooms – Flower Power” tulip display. The tulip blooms were spectacular and there were many, many people there enjoying the gardens. I was surprised to see so many people because it was a Monday afternoon.
I learned that the tulip display is annual event at the Dallas Arboretum. I decided this year’s “Blooms – Flower Power” was a perfect springtime cultural event.
