I watched this Great White Heron flying around the Hagerman Wildlife Refuge on a wet, rainy afternoon.  He wasn’t the only Heron in the area; but he was the only one who seemed to be flying around.  It almost seemed as if he was on lookout duty.  Even with his amazing wing span, he was graceful in the sky.
