Liberty Hill School

LibertyHillSchool_LindaJamesPhotography__MM

Liberty Hill School is located in Tennessee’s Fall Creek Falls State Park.  I think it now serves as a museum for the area.  The door was locked; so I wasn’t able to go inside.

I’d love to know all about this building.  When was it built?  When was the last time it was used as a school? How many kids went to school in this building? After a rather lengthy Internet search, I still don’t have any information on this building.  I’ll continue my research and report back if I learn more.

      • This cabin was my boyfriend’s family cabin. The cross stitch on the front is his grandparents and their children. His father if the 10th child listed (Vernon Grove)The family (Terry Grove) donated the cabin to the park. The cabin originally was set on Joe Grove Road named after his grandfather. My boyfriend used to spend summers sleeping in the top of the cabin.
