This quote goes with my word for 2015. “Grateful”. It’s not always easy to count your blessings if you’re looking at that supposedly greener grass. And truthfully, I’ve learned that green grass is usually AstroTurf. True, some days it is difficult to find the positives; but I just keep trying. I’m trying everyday to love the life I have.

Thanks. I like this quote too. I use to tell my high school students about the astroturf. They seemed to understand it better than just the grass always looks greener quote. 🙂 🙂

I love your statement that green grass is usually Astroturf–not so special as we would expect from the color. It is so important to be grateful for what we already have. Great quote.
