Flying

Flying_LindaJamesPhotographyWe spent a few hours watching the birds at the Hagerman Wildlife Refuge.  Seeing this Great Egret flying was simply amazing.  Just look at that wingspan.  I’m no expert; but I believe he has the longest neck I’ve ever seen on an Egret.

Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge is located on the Texas side of the Red River and on the Big Mineral part of Lake Texoma (a lake shared by Texas and Oklahoma).  You can view my post Worth the Trip – Hagerman Wildlife Refuge to see more photos from Hagerman Wildlife Refuge.

    • Thanks, my friend. Good to hear from you. I’ve not been on WP much lately. I’ve been busy with my grands. They are a handful. LOL
