Flatiron Building
Eureka Springs, Arkansas
This wonderful building can be found on the corner of Spring and Center in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I love how they used every bit of space available in this Ozark Mountain town. The building is called the Flatiron Building.
According to the Flatiron Flats website:
- The Flatiron Building is one of the most photographed buildings in Eureka Springs and often serves as an iconic symbol for the City. The original building was built in 1880 and was destroyed by fire in 1890. Shortly after, a new building was erected and also was destroyed by fire. The current building was built in 1987, constructed entirely of concrete and is home to the Quilt Shop, Wilson and Wilson Fine Arts and the Daily Roast, our most favorite coffee shop in town.

Just like a smaller version of the New York Flat Iron!
Very interesting.

I didn’t know that! I’ve been to New York; but not NYC. Either way, I didn’t see it. I guess I need to make another trip. 🙂

There are a few Flatiron buildings around, the most famous being in New York, and I remember one in Chicago. Pretty cool places.

That’s interesting! I’ll have to put it on my list of places to see. You know that list that just continues to grow and grow. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
