Glow
These flowers seemed to glow in the late afternoon sun. I loved that the sun brought out the uniqueness of each individual flower.

Here’s the same photo after I applied a monochrome filter. I rarely try a monochrome filter on flowers because I think that nature’s color is usually best. In this case, however, I rather like the result. I like how you can see the softness of the flower petals and the texture of the stems. What do you think?

The black-and-white filter emphasizes the contrast between the light and dark. Glows even more!
