2017
When it came time to pick my one word for 2017; I was stumped. There are lots of things I need to work on. –I need to stop apologizing for things that aren’t my fault. — I need to live in the moment and not worry so much about the present (or past). –I need to take better care of myself. And the list goes on and on and on.
When it came right down to it, I realized I still need to work on “Joy”. Last year, I posted over 400 “Finding Joy Everyday” photos. True, I missed posting on a few days; but I made up for it later that same week. I worked hard to find some little joy in my everyday life.
This year my word is still joy; but my goal is a little different. My 2017 goal is “Today, I Choose Joy”. The difference between “Finding Joy Everyday” and “Today, I Choose Joy” may seem small; but it is there. Last year, I was looking for joy everywhere – my family, my flowers, my house, my dogs, the lake, sunsets etc. This year, I want to find joy within me. The joy may come from the same things; but I want to take time to reflect on these things as they relate to me.
May your wish be fulfilled and filled with JOY!

Thanks! This is actually my post from 2017; but I chose Joy as my word for 2018 also. LOL I’m not sure why the post showed up again as a recent post. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great year.
