Daisies use to be called “Day’s Eye” because at night the petals close over the center and reopen during the day. So – “Fresh as a Daisy” meant someone had a good night’s rest. Now, it usually refers to being refreshed or full of energy.
How often do you feel “Fresh as a Daisy”?
Monochrome Madness Challenge
Flowers are not usually the best subject for monochrome photography; however, sometimes you just have to try. The monochrome photo shows the wonderful lines and great shapes of the daisies. I also like how the monochrome photo gives the feel of another era in photography.

Thank you! I agree that contrast is important. 🙂
Your daisies in monochrome look actually quite good. The main thing is to have good contrast in the original colour photo.
