This old barn in all its’ faded glory may have seen better days; but it is still standing in this Tennessee field.
I’m not sure why; but my eye is always caught by old barns. I find it interesting that there is a tractor stored on the side section where there’s just enough roof left to keep it covered. Does the stored tractor and rundown vehicle indicate that the farm is not longer being used? Has another more modern barn has been built in another location and the tractor is there for use only in that location?
I like to imagine them when this barn was full of life perhaps housing cows and horses. It would have been full of hay and farm equipment. Workers would be coming and going as they went about their daily chores. There are probably some stories of wonderful times. I also wonder why the barn was left to decay and rot away.

Old barns also fascinate me. It is perhaps a nostalgic feeling of the so-called good old days. Great photo!
