This quote is powerful because it is says so much.  Being kind is the greatest power you can ever have.  You never know how that touch on the shoulder, that little compliment or even just a smile may help someone.  As an educator,  I would have to remind myself that I didn’t know what happened to that student before he entered my classroom.  I often chanted to myself – “Kill them with kindness.”  Being kind isn’t always the easiest choice; but it is the choice that will have the longest lasting effect.
