During the month of May in 2015, there were record-setting rains in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  The lakes overflowed their boundaries and flooded surrounding areas.

This is Joe Pool Lake Marina which was completely flooded including the parking lot.  The owners of these boats had no way to get to them until the water receded.  Luckily, only a few boats were damaged even though the marina flooded.  After close to two months, the waters receeded and the owners were finally be able to get to their boats.
