Ok, I confess the scrapbooks I just posted were way too easy. I wasn’t able to sleep last night and I was just surfing the Internet as I do when I can’t sleep. Anyway, I came across this really cool little program at Lifetimetv.com.
I was really there to play a game, but got sidetracked by the makeover section which somehow led me this scrapbooking program — Smilebox. (By the way, if you haven’t been to http://www.lifetimetv.com you should check it out. There’s some really fun stuff on the site. NO, I don’t own stock in the site – I just like some of the things on the site.)
Back to Smilebox — This program is a drop and scrap program. (Which can be a drawback because there’s no way to be very creative with the program like you can with PSE etc.) It is a fairly restrictive program. You can choose your own comments and you can turn off embellishments. However, if you choose to print, you could add embellishments to make them feel more like your creation. Even still it is a fun little program. I made the three scrapbooks last night between 1:00 AM and 2:AM. Today I was able to post them on this blog. That’s more progress than I made all summer.
I think that at some point I just need to get some of my pictures scrapped. This program may be away to get that done. I am going to put these on the my Digital Photo Frame. I bet they will look really cute.
Ok, now that I’ve confessed. I want to say in my own defense that I have been working on some digital scrapbook designs. I’ve made several background papers that I think may look pretty good. I’ve also been working on a couple of photo collages. I may take the easy way with some pictures, but I am won’t give up on learning digital designing.
If you’ve come across this pitiful little blog – then I wish you a Happy Labor Day.
