Sometimes I Just See Red

Downtown Dallas, Texas
2:30 on a Thursday afternoon

There was so much traffic and so many busy people moving about — I didn’t know where to point my camera first.  I love this shot because it shows how busy this particular street was at this particular time. I think the pops of red emphasize the activity on the street by bringing attention to the red brake lights and red stop lights all the way down the street.   I used the B & W & Red Comic filter in FX Photo Studio to edit the photo.

I’m not always a fan of photos with just a pop of color; but I think it works for this one.
What methods do you like to use with your photos to emphasize special characteristics?

“Sometimes I Just See Red” is my entry for this week’s Monochrome Madness Challenge.  You can join the Monochrome Madness Challenge or view more monochrome photos by visiting Leanne at Leanne Cole Photography.
