I took this photo on a country road near Memphis, Texas at sunset on a partly cloudy day. As we drove over the top of the hill, I saw the electrical structure standing stark against the sky — just beyond the fence. (There aren’t any wires on the structure because it was part of a new electrical line being built.) I like the contrast of the electricity poles, the wire fence and the clouds. Editing the photo with a monochrome filter changes the emphasis from the sunset to the lines in the fence, poles and the electrical structure.
“Beyond the Fence” is my entry for this week’s Monochrome Madness Challenge. The theme for this week was “straight”.
