I pass this windmill several times a week as I travel the country roads between my home and the city. It stands close to the road; so it catches my eye most trips. Last week, I posted Texas Skyline – a photo of this windmill glowing in the sun.
This photo was taken on a gray, cloudy day as we were traveling on Texas Farm to Market 902. It was the light in the clouds that first caught my eye and then I saw the dark shape of the windmill’s blades. To me the combination required a photo. (I’m lucky that my hubby does most of the driving and doesn’t mind stopping for photo ops.)
